Zeus Pt. 2

Oooooh dramatic. Ok, the consensus was the last version was looking a bit too "Angry Santa". I couldn't agree more. So here's the new and improved moody Zeus. Thanks to my visual development class for comments. This works much better. Wouldn't want to mess with him now.

Had Greek Mythology on the Brain lately. So here is a quick demo I did for a visual development class. This is day light scene Zeus, complete with a big ol' nose. Good fun.

Here is both the tight drawing and the finished layout. The thumbnail is MIA. This is just another environment that ties into my rocket kid story.

Shadow Over Innsmouth

This is just a quicky colored thumbnail. Shadow Over Innsmouth is probably my favorite H P Lovecraft story. And his writing style is so creepily descriptive. Awesome stuff on a dark , lonely night.

Hiatus?

Not really a hiatus. I just dropped off posting on this blog for awhile but, excuses, excuses, blah, blah, blah. I'm back for good.

So here is a little speed painting with some custom brushes courtesy of David Levy. Very cool of him to offer the brushes he created. The idea behind this little diddy is a planet that is nothing more than a giant scrap heap. Hope ya likes.
